Meeting Preview

We are happy to invite you to the first Data Donation Lab meeting of 2023!

The meeting will take place on 10 March 2023 starting at 10:00 in a hybrid format – you can either join us on site at the DSI or remotely via Zoom (Zoom-link tba). The meeting will consist of three parts, but you are free to join only for selected parts:


Part I: Lab Meeting (10:00-10:45)

  • Welcome & general Update
  • Presentation by Valerie Hase (LMU): Can We Get Rid of the Bias? Mitigating Error in Data Donation Studies via Sampling and Survey Design Strategies
  • Outlook (Call for Data Donation Symposium in September; DDL @ Scientifica 2023; future funding)

Part II: Introduction Data Donation Module (11:00-11:45)

We will provide an introductory overview of the Data Donation Module (DDM), a web application that was developed at the Data Donation Lab and can be used by researchers to collect data donations for their own projects. This part will include a general overview of the functionality and features of the application.

Part III: Hands-On Session Data Donation Module (12:00-12:45)

In this part, you will get the opportunity to try the Data Donation Module for yourself by setting up your own (mock) project.
