A Look Back at Scientifica

The Data Donation Lab was present with a booth at this year's Scientifica. Our booth was visited by a wide range of age groups (from teenagers to seniors) and we had many interesting conversations with citizens interested in the topic of personal data and data donations.

At the booth, visitors could learn how a data donation works, what happens to their donated data and how they can personally contribute to scientific research. They then had the opportunity to take part in a data donation project of their choice, either donating their YouTube usage data or their FitBit data and getting a personalized report of their data patterns in return.
